Wry, Offbeat, Character Specialist, Animation, Great with Dialogue and straight Narration and Comedy I have just finished "Freerange Roosters" Animated Pilot for a New Zealand production company "Bize Asset" and also have done my second Book on Tape for Story Roads Production "Wendy and Wally Series." I have been a voice over talent for the last 30 years..doing radio and TV commercials and narration. I have worked in Radio and TV as an on air talent and also done looping for films like
"The Empire Strikes Back", "The Wedding Singer" and many others.
I am also voice character actor. Great with dialogue, accents and am a strong singer.
I also work in cartoons, narration and promos.
I can present a fun, straight or animated product.
I have returned from my 5th tour across America doing Radio Drama.
We have presented "The Great Tennessee Monkey Trail", "The Caine Mutiny Court Martial", and I just finished "Top Secret" the Petagon Papers
With LA Theatre Works. I have worked with such actors as John Heard, Ed Asner, James Cromwell and John Delancie.

I have been working in the voice over business for over 30 years.
I have done over 1000 spots for radio, TV and film.
James played H.L. Menken in the LA Theatre Works national tour THE GREAT TENNESSEE MONKEY TRIAL with Ed Asner and just completed an L.A.Theatre works national tour of THE CAINE MUTINYCOURT-MARTIAL. He recently appeared in the U.S. premiere of David Hare’s STUFF HAPPENS at L.A.’s Mark Taper Forum and starred as Jack in the “THE WEIR” at L.A.’s Geffen Playhouse. He starred regularly as Jimmy McQuinn on the series “THE DAYS AND NIGHTS OF MOLLY DODD” among countless Guest Star roles on other series. Film credits include AMERICAN DREAMZ, MOTHER with Albert Brooks, REVENGE OF THE NERDS, Gene Wilder’s THE WORLD’S GREATEST LOVER. New York theatre credits include THE GUYS IN THE TRUCK, SPEED-THE PLOW, CURSE OF THE STARVING CLASS, and THE MISER. He played Billy in STREAMERS and Mickey in HISTORY OF AMERICAN FILM at the Mark Taper Forum. He created the role of Charlie Brown in the musical SNOOPY and can be heard on the cast C.D. James is a L.A. DRAMA CRITICS CIRCLE AWARD WINNER for his performance in Interact Theatre Company's production of COUNSELLOR-AT-LAW. He is a member of the Musical Theatre Guild where he has played leading roles in 1776, MERRILY WE ROLL ALONG, and WHERE’S CHARLEY among many others. James was a two time Greer Garson Scholarship recipient at CSF and served four years in the U.S. Air Force following his graduation from CSF. James is married and has a daughter enrolled at American University in Washington, D.C. and a son enrolled at Marist College in New York.
